Google Test в Visual Studio 2012

VС++ 2012 не поддерживает и не будет поддерживать вариативные шаблоны; следовательно, его реализация стандартной библиотеки пытается подделать их с использованием перепроцессорных перегрузок и специализаций. Поскольку этот комментарий в блоге отмечает, что количество параметров шаблона faux variadic по умолчанию равно 5 – проблема в том, что gtest пытается создать экземпляр std::tuple<> целых 10 аргументов шаблона.

Как уже упоминается в блоге, вы можете определить макрос _VARIADIC_MAX для всего проекта, чтобы поддерживать до 10 параметров; вы, вероятно, захотите сделать это в рамках своего проекта определения препроцессора, но важно убедиться, что каждый TU определяет его до включая любые stdlib-заголовки (прямо или косвенно).

Вместо того, чтобы модифицировать реализацию кортежа VS2012 с использованием макроса _VARIADIC_MAX, я решил эту проблему, задав следующие два макроса для самых сложных проектов и проектов, включая gtest headers:

GTEST_HAS_TR1_TUPLE=0
GTEST_USE_OWN_TR1_TUPLE=1

Настройка GTEST_HAS_TR1_TUPLE на 0 запрещает gtest пытаться использовать класс кортежа из заголовков STL, а установка GTEST_USE_OWN_TR1_TUPLE в 1 указывает gtest использовать свою собственную реализацию кортежа, а не пропускать функции, требующие поддержки кортежей. Я лично предпочел этот вариант для настройки реализации STL, и это решение должно работать на любых других компиляторах, которые имеют схожие проблемы.
