Создавайте промежуточные папки, если их не существует

Я пытаюсь создать папку для каждого имени пользователя, в котором пользователь входит. В настоящее время я

File theFile = new File(destination + username); // will create a sub folder for each user 

но бит File theFile не создает новую папку для имени пользователя. Как мне это сделать?

Как я могу распечатать новый пункт назначения и использовать его позже, так как в настоящее время он создает новую папку, но не выбирает ее для использования

ИЗМЕНИТЬ ЭТО СЛИШКОМ:

    NewDestination = "C:/Users/Richard/printing~subversion/fileupload/web/WEB-INF/uploaded/" + username;

Добавлен код выше, и теперь все работает
