Почему мой SSH-ключ не работает для подключения к github?

Примечание. Я не новобранец, и я сделал это gazillion раз, но по какой-то причине сегодня он решил не работать.

Я продолжаю получать сообщение об ошибке Permission denied (publickey). при попытке подключиться к github через SSH или при попытке клонировать репо даже после переделки ключа ssh и добавления его в "SSH Keys" в моей учетной записи.

Вот что я сегодня делал десять раз без успеха:

введите ключ с ssh-keygen.
открыть файл ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub с Gedit или Notepad ++ и скопировать содержимое.
Перейти к настройкам учетной записи на github.com
Перейти к SSH-ключам
Нажмите кнопку "Добавить ключ".
введите ключевое слово
вставьте ключ в поле ключа.
Сохраните ключ (введите мой пароль github для проверки).

И теперь, когда я пытаюсь сделать ssh github.com, это просто не сработает... Что в мире? Я просто слишком устал прямо сейчас, или я чего-то не хватает?

Это следует за синтаксисом ssh uri (также показано в этом ответе ").

Но вы сделали:

ssh github.com

(без какого-либо пользователя). В этом случае ssh возвращается к синтаксису SCP , который опирается на файл ~/.ssh/config с разделом "github.com", чтобы перечислить

пользователь
имя хоста
(и, необязательно, расположение открытого ключа, но по умолчанию он попробует ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub)

У меня была аналогичная проблема, github не использовал мой SSH-ключ. Мне всегда приходилось вводить имя пользователя и пароль.

Я смотрел на .git/config, под [remote "origin]]:

    url = http://github.com/path/to/repository

или

    url = https://github.com/path/to/repository

Я изменил строку на

    url = ssh://[email protected]/path/to/repository

а затем он работал.

После создания файла конфигурации (~/.ssh/config) он сработал. Это то, что я должен был внести в него:

User git

Hostname github.com
IdentityFile ~/.ssh/id_rsa
TCPKeepAlive yes
IdentitiesOnly yes

Недавно GitHub прошел аудит ключей ALL. Перейдите в ключевой раздел вашей учетной записи, чтобы повторно подтвердить его.
