Как получить доступ из ScrollerLinearLayout к родительскому макету, чтобы получить - например, - editetxt? FragmentActivity и ScrollerLineraLayout находятся в разных пакетах тех же проектов. Я попытался использовать функцию getParent() таким образом в ScrollerLinearLayout, но он не работает.

Метод getParent возвращает ViewParent, а не View. Вам также необходимо передать первый вызов getParent():

RelativeLayout r = (RelativeLayout) ((ViewGroup) this.getParent()).getParent();

Как указано в комментариях OP, это вызывает NPE. Чтобы отладить, разделите его на несколько частей:
