System.Version не сериализуется

У меня есть класс с свойством System.Version, который выглядит следующим образом:

System.Version не является сериализуемым, если вы посмотрите на it properties на MSDN, вы увидите, что у них нет сеттеров... поэтому сериализатор не будет их хранить. Точнее, System.Version не XML -сериализуемый. Он сериализуется с помощью BinaryFormatter, например:
