Создание файла .zip

Я пытаюсь сохранить файлы из одной папки в другую. zip, размещенном в другом каталоге. И я написал следующие коды:

archive.php

    $zip->open('example.zip',  ZipArchive::CREATE);
    $srcDir = "/home/sam/uploads/";
    $files= scandir($srcDir);

    unset($files[0],$files[1]);

        $zip->addFile("{$file}");    
    }
    $zip->close();

Но, к сожалению, я не могу создать .zip-папку. Есть ли какой-то шаг, который я пропустил?

$zip = new ZipArchive();

$DelFilePath="first.zip";

if(file_exists($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/TEST/".$DelFilePath)) {

        unlink ($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/TEST/".$DelFilePath); 

}
if ($zip->open($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/TEST/".$DelFilePath, ZIPARCHIVE::CREATE) != TRUE) {
        die ("Could not open archive");
}
    $zip->addFile("file_path","file_name");

// close and save archive

$zip->close();

Здесь TEST - ваше имя папки проекта.

Вы можете определить путь по своему усмотрению.

Да, я решил свою проблему.

Здесь я только что заменил код

$zip->addFile("{$file}");

с кодом

$zip->addFromString(basename($file),  file_get_contents($file));

и проделайте мою работу.:)
