Вы не можете поместить EditText в RemoteViews. RemoteViews ограничивается несколькими возможными виджетами, в частности теми, которые описаны для использования в виджетах приложения. И для a Notification я сомневаюсь, что параметры AdapterView, такие как ListView, тоже будут работать.

Для меня это произошло потому, что я неправильно задавал текст внутри remoteViews TextViews. Я делал это:

remoteViews.setString(R.id.txt, "setText", "text");

Используя один из этих методов, я решил это для меня:

remoteViews.setCharSequence(R.id.txt, "setText", "text");
//Or simply:
remoteViews.setTextViewText(R.id.txt, "text");

Не все представления могут быть использованы в RemoteViews. Объект RemoteViews может поддерживать следующие классы макета:

FrameLayout

LinearLayout

RelativeLayout

GridLayout

AnalogClock

Button

Chronometer

ImageButton

ImageView

ProgressBar

TextView

ViewFlipper

ListView

GridView

StackView

AdapterViewFlipper

Вы не можете использовать другие классы макета, такие как EditText или CustomViews.

Я обнаружил, что использование android: background = "? Attr/colorPrimaryDark" также вызывает сбой. При изменении на Android: background = "@color/colorPrimaryDark" он перестал сбой.

Если у вас есть ScrollView среди ваших RemoteViews, удалите его. Это сработало для меня.
