Я создаю приложение java SE 8 (oracle 1.8.0-b129) с EclipseLink (2.5.1, также пытаюсь использовать 2.5.2-M1) и имею класс Entity, который просто игнорируется EclipeLink, несмотря на то, что он правильно аннотируется и ссылается в файле persistence.xml. В журналах нет упоминаний о классе, для него не создается сгенерированная схема и т.д. Использование объекта дает ошибку "Абстрактный тип схемы неизвестен".
Я думаю, что, наконец, я выяснил причину и подумал, что поделюсь. По-видимому, EclipseLink не любит классы с лямбда-выражениями. Вот простой класс, который воспроизводит проблему:

В выражении лямбда нет необходимости использовать постоянное свойство, его простое существование в классе достаточно. Кто-нибудь знает, что может вызвать это? Я предполагаю, что EclipeLink задыхается от генерируемого байт-кода, но мне кажется странным, что он молча игнорирует класс.
