Все, что мне нужно было сделать, - это включить "Разрешить менее безопасные приложения для доступа к вашей учетной записи". Я думаю, это альтернатива созданию определенного для приложения пароля.

При использовании Gmail возникает другая проблема. Теперь у Gmail есть безопасность, поэтому вы должны создать специальный пароль для приложения - вы не можете использовать пароль, который у вас есть для обычного доступа к Gmail.
