Разработка - Настройка почтовой программы

Я разработал приложение в рельсы 3. Я пытаюсь заставить почтовик работать с устройством. Моя текущая ситуация заключается в том, что когда я ввожу адрес электронной почты, который является учетной записью Gmail по умолчанию, которую я установил. Он перенаправляет меня на страницу "входа" и дает мне уведомление "говорить, что скоро я получу инструкции", однако эти инструкции не отправляются. У меня такая же проблема, как у кого-то, кто опубликовал на RubyForum Я прочитал этот пост, и это совсем не помогло. Мой config/environment/development.rb выглядит следующим образом:
