Двухэтапное решение:

1) Выберите видеофайл из галереи.

Создайте глобальный int private static final int SELECT_VIDEO = 3; - не имеет значения, какое число вы используете, если только это вы проверяете позже. Затем используйте намерение выбрать видео.
