UIImagePickerController не отображается в iOS 8

Есть ли у кого-нибудь проблемы с UIImagePickerController в iOS 8? Метод ниже отлично работает в iOS 7 на iPad, но я получаю следующую ошибку, когда я запускаю это в XCode 6 (Beta 3 или 4), когда я пытаюсь представить сборщик (последняя строка). Я думаю, что это связано с тем, что в iOS 8 представления предупреждений и таблицы действий фактически представлены контроллерами представлений (UIAlertController). Итак, если вы представляете новый контроллер представления в ответ на действие из UIAlertView, оно отображается, пока UIAlertController отклоняется. Я работал над этим, задерживая презентацию UIImagePickerController до следующей итерации runloop, делая следующее:

[[NSOperationQueue mainQueue] addOperationWithBlock:^{
    [self openPhotoPicker:sourceType];
}];

Однако правильный способ исправить это - использовать новый API UIAlertController для iOS 8 (т.е. использовать if ([UIAlertController class])... для проверки на него). Это всего лишь обходной путь, если вы еще не можете использовать новый API.

Я согласен с обнаружением проблемы с Беном Лингсом. Я бы предложил более простое решение в случае использования UIActionSheet. Я просто переместил свой код, который реагирует на выбор Action Sheet:
